Meet Kyle Nolan, our Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Kyle Nolan was born and raised in the small town of Hoosick Falls, NY. His journey in medicine began with a spark ignited by the healthcare professionals around me. From starting his career as an adult ICU nurse at Albany Medical Center to finding his true passion in preventative care at CapitalCare Family Practice in Slingerlands, his journey in the medical field has been nothing short of transformative. After completing his bachelor’s degree in nursing at SUNY Plattsburgh, Kyle quickly realized that while the intensity of the ICU was fulfilling, it lacked the continuity of care he craved. Determined to make a difference in a more long-term way, Kyle set his sights on becoming a nurse practitioner. It was during his clinical placement at Slingerlands Family Practice, that he felt a profound sense of belonging and purpose. The office became like a second home, and he was overjoyed when he was offered a job there.
Aesthetic medicine wasn’t on Kyle’s radar until he joined forces with Dr. Lisa Bevilacqua. Her successful and highly regarded medical spa, conveniently situated within the family practice, sparked his curiosity about the field. Eager to explore, Kyle decided to shadow and delve into the inner workings of this fascinating industry. It didn’t take long for him to realize the satisfaction that comes with helping people enhance their natural beauty. Kyle feels incredibly fortunate to be mentored by such a talented and dedicated provider. Through a hands-on and comprehensive apprenticeship, he believes he has gained a competitive advantage over other injectors. Kyle says, “There is nothing better than being able to merge my passion for creativity with my medical expertise. I pride myself on embodying a unique blend of dedication, compassion, and creativity. With this diverse set of skills and experiences, I strive not only to treat the physical ailments of my patients, but also provide them with a sense of well-being and empowerment.”
Outside of the medical field, Kyle has a wide range of interests including golf, pickleball, skiing, reading, attending concerts and stand-up comedy. However, his true passion lies in his love for dogs. Although he didn’t pursue a career in veterinary medicine, he is known as the ultimate dog lover/whisperer. Recently, Kyle developed a love-hate relationship with running and even completed a half-marathon and triathlon sprint in 2023. His support system consists of his loving family and friends. He met his wife in college, and together they have a beautiful son named Theo (born in 2021), as well as two charming pups named Finn and Murphy. Moving forward, Kyle’s goals are to provide exceptional care to his patients and clients while staying up to date with the latest advancements in my field. Kyle is working towards his board certification in aesthetics through the American Academy of Procedural Medicine.
